Adderall Side Effects Paranoia
Concerta, Have anyone tried it? Here is my side-effects?
Hi. I am wondering if anyone tried or have used Concerta to treat his or her ADHD/ADD symptom. 3 years ago, I was using Concerta and had to stop because the side effects seems un-normal. It did great for my academic but horrible in social setting. I’ve become anti-social when on Concerta.
My main concern is the voices I keep hearing in my head, its not really voices but thoughts to myself assuming things, paranoia. When on Concerta, I tend be somewhat Zombie like and can’t seem to hold a social conversation.
Have anyone ever experience these side effects listed above while using Concerta? At the time when I was taking Concerta, I was about 20 years old and around 145pounds. I was taking 54mg. Was the dosage too high and because of that, I am getting all of the side effects? Should I try lowering my mg? I am currently on Adderall but thinking about switching back to Concerta.
My son takes concerta as well. When he first started he started to have the same side effects as you. He takes prozac now once a day with the concerta, and it counteracts the problem. It is working well for him now. Maybe you should speak to your doctor about trying that or another Med. Good Luck!
