Coping Skills Paranoia

Am I qualified to answer psychology and mental health issues? Because…?
I am a recovering addict who has suffered depression, anxiety, mood swings, OCD tendencies, paranoia, and suicidal thoughts, etc. Well I have sought therapy and medication and have made progress and had setbacks. Things have improved alot and I have developed coping skills. I have experienced and sometimes overcome many of the things that people ask about. While I have no degree in psychology I feel that there is a chance I could help people. What do you think?
no one’s got to be ‘qualified’ on Yahoo Answers. it’s just common or life experience answers. But speaking or advising from experience limits your help because it’s based on what happened in your particular situation and not all the possibilities that COULD happen or are likely to happen to someone else.
