Critical Paranoia

critical paranoia
I’m 18 and almost 11 weeks pregnant and everything seems fine but im so paranoid about having a miscarriage.

I dont know if this is normal but from the day i found out when i was 7 weeks it doesnt leave my mind i know that the first 12 weeks is the most critical and im almost there but im so stressed out im sick right now and on antibiotics so hopefully that will be ok.. i just want to know if this paranoia is normal or is it going to make things worse

One of the most important agents of good health is a positive attitude. You have to convince yourself that everything will be ok. A positive attitude toward an impending medical procedure will help your body adjust to it when the time comes.
You are scared. That’s natural. If you continue to stress, you can do damage to your baby, so immerse yourself in things you enjoy. Is this a baby you want? If so, then start thinking of names…choose colors for the baby’s room…shop for baby clothes…whatever it takes to make you feel more comfortable.
Consider your family history too…did your mom or sisters have a miscarriage? If not, the chances of that happening to you are slim. Talk to your doc about things you can do to lessen the stress you put on yourself, and your baby will be fine.
