Is Paranoia Genetic

Are Panic/Anxiety Attacks Genetic Or Environmental?
Symptoms: paranoia, shaking, difficulty breathing, pounding heart, racing pulse, restlessness, difficulty concentrating and/or thinking clearly. I have had these episodes for years but much worse with starting menopause. I am on Paxil now and it is much better but I wonder why I am a victim to this. Any others with similar experiences or answers?
I too suffer from this and OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)
but the key objective is when you feel it coming on (because you can usually tell when it’s going to happen) is to remain calm- you know what it is. I think it’s more psychological than enviromental and I believe it sometimes can be hereditary or due to something tramatic that happened in your life. Bottom line- You’re not the only one- WELCOME TO THE CLUB!! Hang in there!!
