Is Paranoia Hereditary
Am i at risk of a hereditary heart attack?
I’m a 26 year old male who sadly this year lost his father who was only 50 to a heart attack.
Because of this i went and got my tests done and it turns out i have high cholesterol, but good plood pressure and a normal pulse.
I have been getting small tight chest pains of late, although this could be paranoia.
Thing is although my Dad went young, in general my family members live long lives, i still have all my Grandparents…
So would that mean that it’s not really a worry from a hereditary point of view?
If your father had heart disease due to a way of life, all his life then your chances are not so high.
Because he had heart disease, you should be more cautious than the average person and make sure you practice good eating and an active lifestyle.
If you live an unhealthy lifestyle, you put yourself at risk for the same health problems.
If your father was born with heart trouble then you ought to be extra caring for yourself. You should get tests and a medical profile to work from.
Chances are, you will be okay if you live a healthy life.
