Genuine person in need of help and advice please about BPD?
Hi thanks for reading. I suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder (diagnosed about 4 months a go) and apparently depression with it. I am 29. Attend group and therapy weekly. Really trying. It’s just lately I have been unable to sleep (about 4 days) and my thoughts race and I keep nattering at people. I am so ashamed but have had an affair with married man (he knows my issues) and various other guys (single). I was so happy Saturday stopped taking meds and really don’t want to take them as don’t believe in them. Two family members have accused me of being manic but I don’t think I am. Now paranoia has kicked in and my father has advised me to call one of my therapists for a “rest” but am scared now. Can’t go into work. What should I do? Any advice or support please! I’m uk by the way just in case anyone needs to know. Thanks.
You need to ring your doctor/therapist. It won’t get better on it’s own, you need professional help.
