What is a recognised course and qualification that will enable me to teach CBT?
I have used CBT for depression but more successfully to deal with paranoia and delusions stemming from hearing voices.
I now feel I could teach CBT.
It really depends on your previous experience and qualifications and where you live. If you’re in the uk you need a post-graduate diploma in CBT, which is an 18 month course if you have prior qualifications in mental health. Then you need to register with the British association for behavioural and cognitive therapies in order to practice legally.Contact universities close to where you live to check it out.
