Paranoia Dopamine
Cocaine and paranoia info?
1.) is the paranoia caused by cocaine use due to anxiety levels being raised on a stimulant? or is the paranoia due to raised dopamine levels like with schizophrenia? and i dont mean binging on cocaine. i mean a night of a few lines here and there eventualy causing paranoianear the end of the night.
in other words is it an anxiety paranoia? or a temorary/borderline schizophrenic type episode paranoia?
BTW, please site your sources. its very easy for a person to post innacurate info especialy when cocaine is correlated with a temporary psychosis as well as aggravating current schizophrenia in those afflicted with it. but this is not what i am talking about. i would like to know what in the brain is causing paranoia in regular healthy individuals with no predisposition to psychosis.
