Paranoia Psychological Disorder

what mental/psychological disorder would this be considered if any?
-if im texting someone and they randomly stop texting me, i freak out. i get super paranoid (i have extreme paranoia) and think that they hate me and they’re just ignoring me for hating me. then i break down and bawl because i get so paranoid and scared.
-i believe that everything bad that happens is my fault. (mainly because of an expirience from my childhood). and i blame myself for it constantly.
-sometimes i get so jealous of others that i starve myself for days at a time.
this is not for attention;i really want to know what i have, if anything.
other than paranoia. i already know i have that.
the texting is just one example of when that happens, btw.
theres alot more things i could say, also.
ive been told by school nurses that they think i have an eating disorder since sixth grade. (im now a junior in high school).
i just looked on wikipedia and paranoid personality disorder sounds alot like me.
dave’s #1 girl: thanks.
You sound like you are a pretty typical “A” personality type. If that’s the case, you are harder on yourself than you need to be.
There are many ways for you to find a healthy balance. Even just acknowledging that you are being too extreme can help to diffuse the feelings of paranoia, fear, and self-blame. It won’t happen over night, but you can train yourself gradually to relax, and pretty soon it will be second nature.
When feelings like that aren’t kept in check, other more serious disorders can take root, such as Obsessive/Compulsive disorder, and eating disorders, like the one you described. A counselor or psychologist have teach you ways to head off an episode before it spirals out of control.
Best of luck, and remember to make a conscious effort to relax. There’s no reason for you to have an internal war waging within you all of the time.
