Paranoia Ptsd
Paranoia, or Paranoid Schizophrenia?
A person constantly has daydreams (which pop up out of nowhere on a day by day basis) about hypothetical robberies, hostage situations, etc in which he and others in his life are the victims of these crimes. In these daydreams, he refuses to cooporate with the bad guys and instead attempts to fight off and subdue the bad guys. He cannot control when/where these daydreams occur but can often control his actions in the daydream (sort of like lucid dreaming).
These daydreams are most likely latent forms of his own fears which were initiated by real life events from his past (being robbed 3 times at gunpoint).
Would these daydreams be considered paranoia, paranoid schizophrenia, or a form of ptsd?

I think you are suffering from ptsd, being robbed is a scary thing, i was raped when i was 19 and i have daydreams of catching and torturing that pig man. See paranoid schizophrenics are not aware of their delusions they believe it all to be true and do not understand they are day dreaming, i think you should get some medical attention from a therapist or psychiatrist, you might need some medications for a while, Jessica
