Paranoia Side Effect
You know when you are scared in your own home at night that an intruder is going to come in and kill you?
or your family?
Well, could that be an evolutionary trait that we have a built in impulse to be afraid since we have been destroyed and pillaged all throughout the ages, imagine tens of thousands of years destroyers have come in and killed all the villages, killed everyone, it’s even in the bible! now we have a left over ‘look over our shoulder’ thing from our bloody history.
could another left over side effect be common paranoia everyone feels at one time or another?
There are times when I would have seen a report on an intruder on some type of Dateline NBC special or have finished watching a movie that was about home invasion. So, I can understand that fear. Especially when you live alone and you hear voices and sounds and you just wondering if you locked that door securely.
